Supervisor James A. Neitz
James A. Neitz, Sr. has lived in Point Township since ___ (over 55 years). In 1970, at age 21, he ran for and was elected as Township Supervisor and has been serving since then. He has been Roadmaster since 1972. He and his wife, Jean, live on Neitz Road where they raised four sons. In 2001, he was honored with the VFW Community Service Award. In 2004, he received the Pineknotter of the Year Award.
Community Service:
- Active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he is Superintendant and Sunday School Teacher. He has served on the church counsel.
- Life member of Point Township Fire Co., Northumberland Hook and Ladder Co. and Northumberland Gun Club.
- Member and Past President of Riverview Cemetery Board. Past member of the Northumberland Recycling Board.
- 4-H Leader, T-Ball Coach, Cub Scout Leader and Assistant Leader
- Served on the PA State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS), on the following committees:
- Population Committee, 2000 & Under
- Population Committee, 2000 to 5000
- Resolutions Committee (current)
- Past President, PSATS
- 2009-2010 - will be serving as PSATS President
Supervisor Justin Dunkelberger
Justin is the CEO and a Co-Founder of PA Solar and Penn Wind, LLCs established in September 2006. He oversees the land development, construction and financing processes in the Northeast United States. Additionally, he has oversight of the project site design, the project and staff management and the municipal government process. With a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, Justin has a 10 years work experience as a Project Manager/Designer for various companies. He also is a PA Engineer in Training since June 2002.
